CATSKILL RESORT

The website for a Hudson Valley resort was redesigned to address its navigation challenges and better capture the beauty and history of the area. Named after a famous writer who celebrated the natural wonders of the Hudson Valley, the resort's new site needed to reflect that legacy. Focusing on plant life native to the region, the redesign incorporates colors, typography, and imagery inspired by the local landscape. The result is a refreshed, welcoming website that’s easier to explore and truly showcases the charm of the Hudson Valley.

Website Design

I had the opportunity to redesign a website for a Catskill resort, focusing on making it easier to navigate, more organized, and highlighting the unique experiences guests can have. I used earthy colors inspired by the beautiful Hudson Valley landscape and incorporated subtle nods to the famous author the resort is named after. To create a warm, welcoming feel, I added hand-drawn illustrations of local plant life and chose a cozy, rustic serif typeface. The goal was to let the resort’s stunning imagery shine while making sure the site was as inviting and user-friendly as possible.

Social Media Refresh

To keep the brand consistent across all platforms, I created custom illustrations for the resort’s Instagram highlight icons. These playful yet elegant designs tied into the website’s nature-inspired vibe, helping organize key resort experiences while keeping the brand’s warm and inviting feel. It was a fun way to create a complete, cohesive brand look both online and on social media.
